The question was: Name good songs with Brother or Sister in the title.
A couple jump immediately to mind. You'd have to look hard, wouldn't you, to top Brothers in Arms (Dire Straits) and Sister Golden Hair (America)? How about, He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother (The Hollies) or Babylon Sisters (Steely Dan)?
It seems like there are better sister songs than brother songs, or at least a wider range of emotions. The brother songs tend to be solemn. Whatever the case, here are a couple of offerings from each category. One is a repeat from not long ago. Julianna Hatfield's My Sister is worth the second go. Any song that name-checks The Del Fuegos is gonna have a little something special. And The Posies album, Frosting on the Beater, ranks high on my list of best albums from the 90s
