Boy, we sure had a hoedown here at our place last Saturday afternoon. About 40 friends and neighbors jammed into our downstairs to listen to three extraordinary musicians, John Meyer, Joe Majerus and Irl Hees.. All three of the fellas have played with many well-known and famous artists. You would recognize them if I told you. Because they're humble guys, they would never tell you unless you asked them point blank. They just enjoying making music.
We don't do things in community like we once did. We have less and less in common all the time and it's easy to get isolated these days. That's why it's good to get together with people and share some food, music and stories. Laugh a little, cry a little, and give thanks for the blessings.
