I'm excited to announce that I have a new album out and video to go along with it. The album is called All of It's True…None of It Happened. It's a collection of songs that finds some truth in Elvis, monkeys, heavy rain, cashew chicken, hippie chicks, petting zoos, John Prine, lost love, found love, enduring love, laundromats, bluebirds and the Vietnam Wall. As to whether any of it happened, well, you can decide.
My profound thanks and appreciation goes to my lifelong friend, Jeff Pickett, for his design of the album concept and cover art. And, for his incredible vision and labor on the video for the song, Life's Funny That Way (At the top of the website). I can't wrap my head around how crazy good it is. Fifty-plus years ago, he and I were best buddies on the sports and hay fields of a small Missouri farm community. And now, after lives that took us to different places and in different directions, to reunite in this way is a bit mind-bending for me. Who would have thought?
